Reuters reported on Tuesday (August 30, 2011), floods occurred in the city of Ibadan. Nigerian Red Cross officers are still evacuating the bodies lying in the scene.

Flood in Nigeria is indeed a seasonal. However, this year the impact is huge because it hit the residential area.

“Many bodies have been evacuated from areas affected by flooding. So far 98 bodies have been found,” said Nigerian Red Cross officials.

The officer added, there are 2,000 displaced by this flood.

Japanese prime minister election results 2011

ICWorldNews: Finance Minister Yoshihiko Noda was elected Japan’s new prime minister. This decision was taken after Noda won the election in Japan’s internal Democratic party today.

AFP reported on Monday (August 29, 2011), Noda will be sworn in the presence of Japanese lawmakers on Tuesday (August 30, 2011) tomorrow to replace existing AM Naoto Kan resigned August 26.

Noda got rid of four competitors who had previously favored. Among them is the Minister of Trade, Banri Kaieda and former Foreign Minister Seiji Maehara.
