ICWorldNews: Nigeria’s southwest region hit by severe flooding. As a result of this incident, 98 people died at the scene.

Reuters reported on Tuesday (August 30, 2011), floods occurred in the city of Ibadan. Nigerian Red Cross officers are still evacuating the bodies lying in the scene.

Flood in Nigeria is indeed a seasonal. However, this year the impact is huge because it hit the residential area.

“Many bodies have been evacuated from areas affected by flooding. So far 98 bodies have been found,” said Nigerian Red Cross officials.

The officer added, there are 2,000 displaced by this flood.
